Exterior millwork including tapered porch columns, auxiliary window and fascia trim, corner boards, wood brackets and extended overhangs all contribute to the new craftsman look. The new roof, shingled siding and front entry door with sidelights and transom gives added detail and texture and improves weather resistance and energy efficiency. The interior's existing foyer and stairs were graced with Earthwood designed and fabricated natural cherry columns, paneling, millwork and lighted wall display niches. Earthwood designed craftsman-style built-ins for the dining and living rooms featuring authentic leaded stained glass and quarter sawn white oak. The incorporation of a new raised hearth, tile surround and built-n speakers, as well as a recessed viewing screen and ceiling mounted projector, all occurred smoothly with careful planning and coordination in the design phase of the project. Not only has the home been transformed with its custom designed craftsman style detailing, but it has been renovated with the enduring, energy efficient materials and products that will provide long-term enjoyment to the homeowners and protection of their investment.
